Professional Overview

Dr. Eric Luster serves as the Chairman of the Board for Seniors Rising Homes and the CEO of Movement Interactive, Inc. in Phoenix, Arizona. He is the inventor of Hiji Band, a device created to track movement and detect/report on Traumatic Brain Injury. After 14 years of working as a nuclear biology specialist, research scientist and engineer in the top ranks of the Department of Defense, Dr. Luster began his pioneering work around concussion detection and wearable technologies in 2012. Today, as a visionary leader and business executive, he is on a mission to develop innovative products that solve problems. As the president of the board of directors of Waymark Gardens (Senior Living Community – 150 units) and Community Advisory Board member for ASU’s Center for Innovation in Healthy and Resilient Aging

Dr. Luster continues to use his expertise to make an impact. Currently, he is leading the effort to build an additional 150+ unit senior living facility that will be equipped with sustainable and smart technologies. This effort will allow for seniors to age in place, provide safety, all while providing connectivity to their loved ones.

Spearheads the renovation and development of a smart facility designed to improve the safety, communication and experience of valued residents. He also sits on the Community Advisory Board for the Center of Innovation in Healthy and Resilient Aging (CIHRA) at Arizona State University, which focuses on advancing technologies that combat disease and provides innovative and technology driven solutions for seniors.
With a background in developing wearable technologies and advanced data security, Dr. Luster leveraged his experience in pioneering devices for detecting Traumatic Brain Injury and ensuring HIPAA compliance. My expertise spans consulting on secure mobile cloud solutions, managing multi-million-dollar contracts, and leading technical teams to secure significant federal grants. This extensive technical and strategic experience equips me to lead as Chairman of the Board at Seniors Rising Homes, where I drive innovation in senior living solutions, ensuring both technological advancement and operational excellence in our facilities.
